The Zoom R4 Multitrack Recorder is a compact four-track audio recorder designed with musicians in mind. The integrated omnidirectional microphone allows you to capture your inspiration when it strikes, equipped with 32-bit float recording technology ensuring you get the best possible take every single time. Its dual AD circuitry further adds to the audio fidelity, ensuring you capture every subtle detail with extreme precision.

Once you've created your composition you can quickly bounce your audio or mix it using the R4's intuitive LCD display and craft your creative vision wherever you go. You can even click 'undo' if you're not happy with your bounce to quickly delete it. Each of the four tracks features a dedicated effects track including a 3-band EQ, pan, echo, and reverb. The powerful onboard mic is perfect for capturing a variety of sound sources, from vocals to instruments such as guitars and pianos.

With two XLR/TRS combi inputs, you can directly connect your favourite synths, guitars, keyboards and microphones. It even has built-in 48V Phantom Power so you can record with studio mics such as condensers. Equipped with four faders and transport controls you can easily mix and navigate between settings with ease. It can also be used as a 32-bit float audio interface, so you can connect the recorder directly to your computer/smartphone. Its portable design means it can be powered via 4 x AA batteries (not included) or through a USB power source via the USB-C port.
