RIAM | Sample Aural Tests Junior Grades Handbook

The Royal Irish Academy of Music has created these Sample test books as an invaluable learning tool for every music student. The Junior grades have been designed to work along side the elementary, preliminary & primary grades right up to grade 5.

Along with the sample tests from the previous publication, which are still relevant and a valuable teaching aid, a large volume of new exercise have been added to each grade, giving teachers and students fresh material from which to work.

Due to popular demand, RIAM have introduced online tracks with each book, providing a recording of the Aural Observation pieces for each level. For Preliminary grade, each piece is performed twice to allow for contrast in tempo and dynamics.
