Kember | Flute Sight-Reading | Volume 1

Part of John Kemper’s well-known Sight-Reading series, Flute Sight-Reading 1 aims to establish good practice and provide an early introduction to the essential skill of sight-reading. This volume includes 195 carefully graduated pieces in a range of musical styles – all original tunes, rather than abstract sight-reading exercises. Eight sections relate to the technical development of the flautist (Preliminary to Grade 4 level), from tunes using three notes to tunes with a range of two octaves, from low Eb to high Bb. The tunes progress towards all key signatures up to two sharps & flats.
