    Frederic Chopin: Mazurkas (ABRSM Edition)

The Mazurka is a traditional dance from Mazoria, an old Kingdom of Poland that Chopin was native to. He has made great use of the folk music of this region and they are characterised by subtle changes in the unusual rhythm varied melodic colour and demonstrate his vast range.
