An entertaining series of clear and structured puzzles by Carol Barratt, designed to help young instrumentalists master the basics of music theory. Each book corresponds with the matching Chester Piano Book.

Each illustrated set of puzzles contains ten question papers, information for teacher and parents and a certificate of achievement for the student. These puzzles take into account limited reading and writing skills of younger children.

Set 5 includes major scales up to 4 sharps and flats, transposition, minor scales, simple duple and compound duple time and finding the relative minor.
