Tiki, creator of mankind
In ancient times, the Polynesian wizards known as Tahu’a claimed that their people had been begotten by the tiki, otherwise known as the creator of mankind, the repository of mana, the energy that binds living beings to the universe. The representation of the tiki, typically a wooden statuette with arms along the body, short legs and a powerful face to ward off evil spirits, was believed to bring its owner protection and benevolence.
Tiki uku
The emblem of the Tiki Uku that adorns the models in these series was chosen by Lâg luthiers because it combines the dominion and influence of the Tiki and the infinite grace of the ukulele in a single graphic.
Offered in both baby soprano, concert and tenor sizes, with a slim body, these ukuleles benefit from a solid spruce top. These arched back ukes feature a Shadow preamp and tuner, a natural satin finish that highlights the grain of the wood and come complete with a padded gigbag.
